Slides & Video: We Read Bedtime Stories to Sick Kids

With our I Inspire Hearts™ program we go into hospitals and read stories to sick children. We conduct group reading sessions in the playroom and we also read one-to-one at the bedside. All of our reader are community volunteers like you that “show we care by being there™”. In addition to the emotional and mental health benefits of our program we also promote early childhood digital literacy by reading to children aloud using iPads. American children rank far below their global counterparts in digital literacy* so in addition to the palliative effects of the I Inspire Hearts program there are educational rewards.
